【摘要】:1.1Thistestmethodisusedtoevaluatetheresistanceofmaterialsusedinprotectiveclothingtosyntheticbloodundertheconditionsofliquidcontactandincreasingdirectmechanicalpressure.Thepenetrationresistanceofprotectiveclothingisbasedonvisualdetectionofsyntheticbloodpenetrationataspecificappliedmechanicalpressure.1.2Thistestmethoddoesnotapplytoallformsorconditionsofblood-bornepathogenexposure.Usersofthetestmethodmustreviewmodesforwork/clothingexposureandassesstheappropriatenessofthistestmethodfortheirspecificapplication.1.3Thistestmethodaddressesonlytheperformanceofmaterialsorcertainmaterialconstructions(forexample,seams)usedinprotectiveclothing.Thistestmethoddoesnotaddressthedesign,overallconstruction,components,orinterfacesofgarments,orotherfactorswhichmayaffecttheoverallprotectionofferedbytheprotectiveclothing.1.4ThevaluesinSIunitsorinotherunitsshallberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemmustbeusedindependentlyoftheother,withoutcombiningvaluesinanyway.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
