【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesmethodsfordeterminingthefluidityofplasticsmeltssubjectedtoshearstressesatratesandtemperaturesapproximatingtothosearisinginplasticsprocessing.Testingplasticsmeltsinaccordancewiththesemethodsisnecessarysincethefluidityofplasticsmeltsisgenerallynotdependentsolelyontemperature,butalsoonotherparameters,inparticularshearrateandshearstress.ThemethodsdescribedinthisInternationalStandardareusefulfordeterminingmeltviscositiesfrom10Pa·sto10Pa·s,dependingonthemeasurementrangeofthepressureand/orforcetransducerandthemechanicalandphysicalcharacteristicsoftherheometer.Theshearratesoccurringinextrusionrheometersrangefrom1sto10s.Elongationaleffectsatthedieentrancecauseextrudateswellingatthedieexit.Methodsforassessingextrudateswellinghavealsobeenincluded.TheTheologicaltechniquesdescribedarenotlimitedtothecharacterizationofwall-adheringthermoplasticsmeltsonly:forexample,thermoplasticsexhibiting"slip"effectsandthermosettingplasticscanbeincluded.However,themethodsusedfordeterminingtheshearrateandshearviscosityareinvalidformaterialswhicharenotwall-adhering.Nevertheless,thestandardcanbeusedtocharacterizetheTheologicalbehaviourofsuchfluidsforagivengeometry.
