【摘要】:Thistestmethodisusedtoevaluatethepropertyoflubricatinggreasestoprotectoscillatingbearingsfromfrettingwear.Thismethod,usedforspecificationpurposes,differentiatesamonggreasesallowinglow,medium,andhighamountsoffrettingwearundertheprescribedtestconditions.Thetesthasbeenusedtopredictthefrettingperformanceofgreasesinwheelbearingsofpassengercarsshippedlongdistances.Testresultsdonotnecessarilycorrelatewithresultsfromothertypesofservice.Itistheresponsibilityoftheusertodeterminewhethertestresultscorrelatewithothertypesofservice.1.1Thistestmethodevaluatesthefrettingwearprotectionprovidedbylubricatinggreases.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Otherunitsareforinformationonly.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Forspecificwarningstatements,see7.2and9.2.
