【摘要】:1.1Theserequirementscovermechanicaltypeaccessoriesthataretypicallyintendedforattachmenttostoragetanksorconnectingpipeincommercial(public)orprivate(fleet)automotivefuelingstationapplications,andaredesignedtoprovideautomaticsafetyoroperationalfunctions.1.2Theseproductsmaybeusedwithundergroundorabovegroundtanksystemsandwithliquidand/orvaporphasesofthefuelscoveredbyeachPartofthisOutlineasidentifiedbelow:1.2.1PartIVaporControlProducts–Functionaldevicesandaccessoriesintendedforconnectiontotanktopopenings(directlyonfittingsorindirectlyonpipe)andperformsafetyoroperationalfunctions,suchasemergencyvents,normalvents,adaptersandcaps.1.2.2PartIILiquidControlProducts(reservedforfutureuse)–Liquidcontrolproductssuchasoverfillcontainmentdevices,overfillpreventiondevices,andflowrestrictors.1.2.3PartIIIStructuralandContainmentProducts(reservedforfutureuse)–Metalliccomponentssuchasaccessdevices,manways,supports,anddikes.1.2.4PartIVCorrosionProtectionProducts(reservedforfutureuse)–Nonmetalliccomponentssuchastankanchors,dielectricbushings,anodepacks,coatingsandresins.1.2.5PartVMiscellaneousProducts(reservedforfutureuse)–Miscellaneousproductssuchasliftlugs,strikerplatesandmonitorwellcaps.1.3Theseproductsareintendedforusewithstoragetanksorfuelingsystemscontainingautomotivefuelsundertheexpecteduseconditionsandexposuresthathavesimilarchemical,physicalandmaterialcompatibilitypropertiesasrepresentedintheserequirements.Theusefuelsareintendedtobeformulatedinaccordancewith40CFRPart80“RegulationofFuelsandFuelAdditives”andmeetthefollowingASTMFuelSpecificationsandblendlimitations:a)ASTMD975,StandardSpecificationforDieselFuelOils,withbiodieselblendsuptoamaximumof5percent(B5);b)ASTMD7467,StandardSpecificationforLowBlendBiodiesel,withbiodieselblendsbetween6to20percent(B6toB20);c)ASTMD4814StandardSpecificationforAutomotiveSpark-IgnitionEngineFuel,gasolineoroxygenatedgasoline,withlimitedethanolblendsuptoamaximumof10percent(E10);d)ASTMD5798,StandardSpecificationforFuelEthanol(Ed75–Ed85)forAutomotiveSpark-IgnitionEngines,highblendethanol,withgasoline/ethanolmixturesinthenominalE85range(E70–E90);ande)MidRangeEthanolBlends(E11toE69)usingvariablemixturesofASTMD4814,LowBlendEthanolandASTMD5798,HighBlendEthanol.1.4ProductscoveredbythisOutlineareintendedtobeinstalledandusedinaccordancewithoneormoreofthefollowing:a)NFPA30,FlammableandCombustibleLiquidsCode;b)NFPA30A,CodeforMotorFuelDispensingFacilitiesandGarages;c)NFPA1,UniformFireCode;d)InternationalFireCodepublishedbytheInternationalFireCouncil;ore)OtherApplicableFederalandStateregulationsforthespecificproductorapplicationitisbeingutilizedin.1.5Theseproductsarefactorymanufacturedandintendedforin-shoporon-siteassembly,inspectionandtestingforthespecifiedapplicationanduseconditionsbyqualifiedpersonsinaccordancewiththemanufacturer’sinstructionsandlocalrequirements.1.6Theseproductsareintendedtobeperiodicallyinspectedandmaintainedforcontinuedservice,ortakenoutofserviceifnecessary,byqualifiedpersonsinaccordancewithindustryrecommendedpracticesand/orthemanufacturer’sinstructions.1.7Theseproductshavenotbeenevaluatedforuseafternaturaldisasters,firesorexposurestochemicalsnotrepresentativeofthetestliquids/vaporsorexcessivephysicaldamagebeyondtheexpectedassembly,installationandusesasidentifiedintheserequirements.
