【摘要】:Thispracticeisfortheuseofmanufacturersandusersofinstrumentstomeasuretheappearanceofgonioapparentmaterials,thosewritingstandardspecificationsforsuchinstruments,andotherswhowishtospecifypreciselythegeometricconditionsofmultianglespectrophotometry.Aprominentexampleofindustrialusageistheroutineapplicationofsuchmeasurementsbymaterialsuppliersandautomobilemanufacturerstomeasurethecolorsofmetallicpaintsandplastics.1.1Thispracticeprovidesawayofspecifyingtheangularandspatialconditionsofmeasurementandangularselectivityofamethodofmeasuringthespectralreflectancefactorsofopaquegonioapparentmaterials,forasmallnumberofsetsofgeometricconditions.1.2MeasurementstocharacterizetheappearanceofretroreflectivematerialsareofsuchaspecialnaturethattheyaretreatedinotherASTMdocumentsandarenotincludedinthescopeofthisstandard.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
